Nicolas spent this Saturday with two of his old buddies, Ben and Matt, hiking in the Mt. Evans Wilderness.  It was a beautiful sunny morning to do the 9-mile round-trip hike in the on the Hell’s Hole trail.  After reaching the end of the trail, a light rain and thunder-storm rolled through the area, providing a serene atmosphere.  There were dozens of different types of wildflowers, so I tried to get one of each.  Along the trail was an old (dead) and huge pine tree that I climbed, so be sure to check that photo.

At the close of our day, we landed in Tommy Knocker’s (in Idaho Springs) for some craft brews and grub.  We’ve decided to start calling these trips “Peaks and Pints”!
